Welcome to 108 East Johnston Street. Located on just under 1 acre in the former Pinehurst Tea Plantation now known as the neighborhood of Tea Farm. This property is incredibly rich in Charleston history from the plants in the yard, all the way down to the bricks themselves! Years ago, the tea plants from the original plantation were moved to the Wadmalaw Tea Plantation and many of the tea plants, still located on this amazing property, are the parent plants of many of their production plants today! The home was designed by William R Parham Jr. and in 1964 built by his uncle AB Youngblood, a contractor from downtown Charleston. The old Charleston bricks, used to construct the home, were salvaged from a historic home on George Street.
